Meet Ryan, M.A., LMFT
Ryan received his M.A. in Couples and Family Therapy from Alliant International University in 2013. Ryan is familiar with a diverse range of therapeutic theories and techniques; however, he believes in an individualized and unique treatment plan for every client. Ryan’s clinical experience includes working with individuals suffering from substance abuse issues in a residential facility, individuals with severe mental illnesses at an outpatient community mental health center, facilitating a caregiver support group for individuals diagnosed with chronic illnesses, and adolescents/adults in an inpatient hospital setting. In addition to his work in private practice, Ryan serves as the Clinical Director of the Living Success Center, a community mental health nonprofit in Orange County.
Ryan focuses his clinical work on adolescents and helping them achieve their personal, academic, social, and athletic goals. Born and raised in Orange County, he understand the pressure and expectations that these young adults encounter on a daily basis. Ryan believes that each individual is capable of achieving their aspirations and he works with them on eliminating the roadblocks that are impeding their progress.
Adolescence is a difficult and stressful period for the teenager and their families. Psychotherapy can be a great tool for a teenager to work through his or her conflicts as they make the difficult transition into adulthood. Ryan’s extensive clinical experience and education assists these young adults in overcoming these temporary impediments and accomplishing their goals.
